Delivery & Shipping

NV van Ratingen delivers only within Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg, and the Products are shipped via a transport company of our choice.

Ordered Products will be delivered as soon as possible and in any case within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of the order confirmation described in art. 2.5.

The Customer is required to sign for receipt. If no one is available at the specified Customer address to accept the delivery, an absence notice will be left, after which the Customer can contact the relevant transport company to arrange a new delivery appointment.

Delivery is at the Customer's expense. Delivery costs vary depending on the destination and the chosen delivery method and are communicated at the time of ordering. Packaging and transportation costs are included in the delivery charges. Customers outside Belgium will also need to pay for the courier service. This cost varies depending on the destination, the weight of the shipped Product, and the chosen delivery method, and is communicated at the time of the order.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Products are delivered to the address specified during the order and registration process.

Delays in the delivery of Products can in no case automatically lead to the cancellation of an order and/or the termination of the Agreement, or the payment of any compensation of any kind. NV van Ratingen cannot be held liable for a delay in delivery due to a strike or suspension at the transport company.

If NV van Ratingen is unable to provide the ordered Product within the indicated period, for example, because the Product is out of stock or temporarily unavailable, NV van Ratingen will inform the Customer as soon as possible by email. In the absence of this, the Customer may, without judicial intervention and with a simple notification to NV van Ratingen, dissolve the Agreement, provided NV van Ratingen has not yet shipped the ordered Product at that time. In this case, NV van Ratingen will refund any payments already made within thirty days.

All visible defects in the outer packaging must be reported on the delivery note or communicated in writing by registered mail, including photos of the visible defects, to NV van Ratingen within a period of 2 working days (the postmark date serves as proof), including a detailed description of the defect.

The use of the delivered Products by the Customer implies acceptance thereof.

Ownership as well as the risk of loss and damage to the Products passes to the Customer upon delivery.
